Answers to Your Questions About Halo Laser Treatment

Halo Laser Skin Rejuvenation Treatment is the world’s first hybrid fractional laser, which uses state-of-the-art technology to reduce common signs of aging such as sunspots, scars, and fine lines. These frequently asked questions about the procedure illustrate the ease and efficacy of the process.

What Are the Results of Halo Laser Treatment?

Halo is one of several laser treatments that we offer at The Dermatology Clinic. It uses a dual-wavelength system to address sun damage, fine lines, and enlarged pores across the desired treatment area. As a result, patients can expect to see a more uniform tone and texture to their skin and a healthy glow that will continue to improve in the weeks and months following the treatment.

How Many Halo Laser Treatments Are Required?

Unlike other facial treatments, the Halo procedure generally only requires one to two treatments. Our dermatologists will work with each patient to determine the ideal treatment plan depending on the patient’s goals and the size of the treatment area.

What Is the Treatment Like?

Halo laser treatments begin with a topical anesthetic that is applied to the skin 30 to 60 minutes before the procedure begins. Then, one of our trained aestheticians will treat each section by rolling the Halo handpiece over the skin until the system affirms that the process has been completed. Because of the anesthetic, patients will experience little to no discomfort. However, they may experience brief prickling sensations. After the treatment, the skin will continue to feel warm for around 15 to 30 minutes.

When Will Results Become Noticeable?

Only two to five days after patients receive a Halo treatment, results will begin to be noticeable. Since Halo also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, patients often notice the full results a few weeks following the treatment, and a full dermal regeneration in the months after. These results will last for years to come, although patients should protect their skin and follow sunscreen best practices to prevent additional damage.

As with any cosmetic treatment, our team at The Dermatology Clinic cares about equipping our patients with the right information to make an informed decision.
