
Dr. Mallory Abate, MD, FAAD, is from Little Rock, Arkansas. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Arkansas where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Abate completed medical school, an internal medicine internship, and a dermatology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Abate served as a chief resident. After residency, Dr. Abate joined faculty with the dermatology department at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, where she received the Teacher of the Year award just after her first year as faculty. She taught and practiced there for 5 years specializing in hospital, transplant, and complex medical dermatology. Dr. Abate has published multiple scientific articles, been invited to speak both regionally and nationally, and has served as an avid member of the American Academy of Dermatology, including as a regular columnist for Dermatology World.
Dr. Abate is thrilled to move to Baton Rouge with her husband Matt, who is a Louisiana native, and their two children.
