For Enhanced Skin Tightening, Exilis May Be Combined With Other Treatments

Noninvasive and painless Exilis treatments use powerful, focused radio frequency to uniformly heat the skin of a patient’s problem areas—including on the face and abdomen—to promote fat disintegration and skin tightening. While Exilis is considered extremely effective on its own, it may be combined with other non-surgical therapies for heightened results, exceeding patient expectations. Here are some of the treatments Exilis can be used with for maximum satisfaction.

Exilis with Injectable Treatments

Injectables such as Dysport, Botox, and Juvederm are popular skin tightening techniques due to their ability to produce quick results with little to no downtime. By blocking nerve signals to muscles and thus weakening their ability to contract, Dysport or Botox restores skin’s smoothness and helps to prevent additional deep wrinkles, frown lines, and crow’s feet. Like Dysport and Botox, Juvederm improves tightness in the skin, but its results look more like those of a surgical facelift. Juvederm is really just hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found elsewhere in the body, which adds extra support to the skin.

Patients opting for either Dysport, Botox, or Juvederm can combine the injectable treatment with Exilis for exceptional tightening results. Also, by using Exilis first, we can see exactly where injectibles are needed, adjusting and limiting Botox or Juvederm to be used as a touch-up procedure.

Exilis with Vanquish

While CoolSculpting was once the preferred method of reducing unwanted fat in the waist area, we have more recently embraced a treatment called Vanquish, which provides nearly identical skin tightening results over larger areas and with less discomfort. As its name suggests, CoolSculpting freezes fat cells to get rid of them. Vanquish is more like Exilis in that it uses radio frequency to heat fat cells instead.

Using Exilis and Vanquish together can transform problem areas: the Vanquish treatments reduce overall circumference of the area, while Exilis treatments work to tighten the overlying skin.

Our doctors are prepared to discuss skin tightening and fat reduction techniques with patients to help them decide on a procedure. To discover how Exilis and other treatments can help you achieve your desired results, set up an appointment.
